The Deer Bresaola is worked exclusively by hand: no machines are used either to head it or to stuff it, thus avoiding that the pressure of the machines alters and stress the delicacy of this bresaola.
It is excellent already tasted in purity.
To fully appreciate all its aromas, we always recommend adding a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
It is perfect enjoyed in combination with a raspberry or red currant jam and pomegranate grains.

Bresaola is an Italian cured meat that is sliced thin and served chilled or at room temperature.

Compared with many other types of cured meat, bresaola is very lean, as it is made from a single muscle and any outer fat is removed before curing.

Bresaola is a bit like a lean prosciutto made with beef instead of pork and slightly reminiscent of pastrami in terms of flavour.

The historic Marco D'Oggiono Prosciutti has been operating in Oggiono, in Alta Brianza, since the first half of the last century. The company, still family-run today, continues to produce hams and cured meats with passion and wisdom.
